The Moravian Synagogues Project

Ben is a young singer and conductor with an interest in Czech vocal music, and a special knowledge of Jewish music.  Recently, many Jewish sites in Moravia have been restored by grants from both the Czech government and the EU. As the restored synagogues have historical beauty and extraordinary acoustics, Ben and his colleagues plan to bring music to them.  Along with pianist Paul Conrad, Ben will treat us to a preview of an upcoming concert tour in Moravia, and a power-point presentation of their beautiful synagogues.  This special event is free for members of the Peretz community and open to the public for a fee of $5.  Refreshments will be served.
