Duke Farms: Lunch and Social Action Planning
The IL Peretz Secular Jewish Community’s Teen Group is planning several gatherings this spring. Meet at / Drop off your kids at 12:30 pm at Rutgers Prep. Following Sunday School, Teen Group leaders Deb Lancaster and Rob Pestka will take the kids to Duke Farms, where we will have lunch in the cafe and walk, bike and/or geocache around the Hillsborough property that serves as a leader in environmental stewardship and sustainability. We will plan a social action activity that may also serve as the mitzvah project for the Graduating Class. Most of the afternoon will be spent outdoors, so dress for the weather!
All costs will be supported by Peretz. Just drop your kids off at Rutgers Prep at 12:30 (or Duke Farms at 1:00), and pick them up at Duke Farms at 4:00.
The dozen or so teens who have attended our Teen Group events this past fall have really enjoyed them, and we encourage all our teens and graduating class kids to try one out! Please RSVP now!
